Happy Leap Day

This is something we only get the chance to say every four(ish) years, so… Happy Leap Day!

Enjoy the extra day of summer. (If only, for those in Melbourne, it actually seemed like summer.) But remember… if today didn’t exist, it’d be the weekend already. (Hmm, not sure that’s right, is it?)

I’m not sure I can convince my boss that it’s the weekend already…
Anyway, have a good (leap) day.
Rog.

For us that have full time jobs and get paid on a monthly, fortnightly or weekly basis we are giving the boss and extra day of work for free.

For the “Pocket Rocket” Henri Richard, the Montreal Canadiens hockey legend it’s his birthday finally. February 29th is an odd day to have a birthday due to the fact that only every four years does the day actually “exist” LOL.

Yes, happy 29th to all my Aussie friends.

We Americans get to celebrate “Groundhog Day” every year on February 2. The groundhog, whose name is Phil, lives in Pennsylvania. On Feb. 2 he is woken up and shown on CNN. If he sees his shadow there will be 6 more weeks of winter. I am not sure if Canadians also celebrate this day.

Happy Sadie Hawkins Day!
It’s the day that women can ask the men to marry them, ask them out for a date, etc. So Daniel, are you engaged yet?? :) :) :) :)

Yes, there is a Canadian Groundhog. Those who live in the east (I don’t) will hear about him, I believe. I think it is on the same day as the American Puskitoni (is that how to spell it?) Phil gets woken up.

Take care
Janice from the windy, rainy wet (west) coast of Canada!

j :) :) :) :)
