What are the odds? Within five minutes of each other last night, I spotted two drivers yakking away on their phones as they drove down the street, both with personalised licence plates.

Only when they confiscate the offenders precious mobile phone and cancel his/her plan, plus fine them a decent amount will it get through their thick heads.

You mentioned http://www.ratetheplate.com.au a while ago. It has a option for “Using Mobile/Cell Phone”. Since you ‘spotted two drivers yakking away on their phones as they drove down the street’, what is stopping you using this site? It seems to be supported by Telstra and the RTA.
Here in the USA, in Florida, drivers are such morons that we are now issuing license plates that say so.
