On the subject of “Melbourne, from Mornington”, can that new freeway really cut 40 minutes off a “standard trip” ?
Enno, no it can not. You would save at most a few minutes compared to uncongested conditions on the existing route. It promises to help cut congestion (or at least bypass it).
Whether it delivers on that promise in the long term is another matter.
I suppose I’m one of a dwindling number. Mainly because I’m a bit of a Luddite where RSS and Twitter are concerned …
